Stainless Steel Braided Leader Hose for Viair 420C,460C,480C & 485C Platinum Air Compressors. 3/8" NPT with inbuilt check valve, 3/8" Male NPT X 3/8" Male NPT Swivel. 26" Long.
NOTE: Do not over tighten the leader hose as it may break the plastic check valve inside the check valve housing. Use thread sealant, Hand tighten it and then just apply 16-18 LBS of torque. If torque wrench is not available then, hand tighten it and give it 1 1-1/4 turn with wrench.
Use thread sealant for proper installation.
Teflon tape is not recommended.
Properly sealed,recommended torque for 3/8" is 16 ~ 18 ft. lbs.
